Ideas Are In! Here’s What Harborview Residents Are Dreaming Up

Over the past two weeks, over 400 residents from every corner of Harborview submitted creative, inspiring ideas for how to improve our city through the People’s Budget. From tree planting in Westwood to youth-designed murals in Southside, the energy is real — and the ideas are big.

We’ve seen proposals to:

• Expand community gardens

• Add shaded seating at busy bus stops

• Create a Youth Arts Fellowship

• Host pop-up mental health services

• Improve safety in neighborhood parks

Now, our team (alongside community volunteers!) is working to review ideas, combine similar ones, and assess feasibility. The best part? You’ll help turn these ideas into full proposals in the next phase.
